Systems as Chief Technology Officer
March 28, 2005,
Chicopee, MA – BTP Systems LLC, a provider of technical
services, depot repair, fabrication and system
integration for DoD electromechanical systems, (www.btpsystems.com),
has hired Greg Loboda as its first Chief Technology
Officer. With 15 years of experience across a wide array
of engineering disciplines and technology programs, Greg
will serve
as the lead technical representative for BTP Systems.
Prior to joining BTP, Greg served as Sr. Principal
Electrical Engineer at Raytheon NCS, where he quickly
gained a reputation as an authority on Navy shipboard
SATCOM systems. He led Raytheon’s effort to overhaul the
fleet’s population of EHF shipboard FOT antenna
pedestals, and later served the Raytheon DD(X) Program
Office as a technical lead in the integration of EHF
SATCOM systems into the advanced next-generation
destroyer concept. Additionally, he acted as Raytheon
Program Engineer for the nascent AFRL Multi-Access Wide
Field Extended Aperture program, leading to the
successful 4-year, $72 million award for an advanced
environment prototype.
Prior to Raytheon, Greg served as Senior Mechanical
Project Engineer for RDC, an entrepreneurial aerospace
company in Long Beach, CA. He also held the position of
Senior Engineer/Scientist at McDonnell Douglas where he
was instrumental in the successful design and execution
of several advanced development programs, including a
joint NASA-RSA Mars Rover prototype and the DC-XA
single-stage reusable launch vehicle.
Greg Loboda received his combined BS/MS in Aerospace
Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology. His graduate studies at the Jet
Propulsion Laboratory encompassed the on-orbit
stabilization of spaceborne infrared telescope, leading
to his participation in the initial investigation of the
aberrant optical performance of the Hubble Space
Telescope after its launch in 1990.

About BTP Systems
BTP Systems LLC is a
story of four employees who left their established
careers with a recognized defense subcontractor to fill
a market void in the refurbishment of complex
electro-mechanical devices. Building upon 25 years of
collective experience in the manufacture of over 800 of
U.S. Navy satellite communications terminals, they
founded BTP Systems and were enthusiastically embraced
by the market that lacked a consistent and willing
partner in the servicing of this equipment.
Leveraging their
in-house engineering and project management talent, BTP
Systems offers design, technical and manufacturing
services, to numerous defense customers. A lean and
flexible privately-held company, BTP Systems can deploy
an endless set of capabilities through its manufacturing
partners to achieve its customer’s objectives. For more
