Controls Engineer
Define, model and develop
servo control systems in support of new and ongoing electromechanical
system design efforts. Utilize CAD solid models and simplified
mathematical models of prototype, production and legacy EM systems to develop
new and improved plant models. Support lead mechanical and electrical
engineers in the analysis and decomposition of system operating
requirements into operational models. Translate operating modes into
mathematical models to merge with plant models. Generate controller code
to drive both COTS and proprietary controllers and servo systems.
This position reports
directly to the Director of Engineering.
Candidate minimum
requirements: a B.S. degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related
Engineering discipline and five years directly relevant experience.
Programming experience with Labview, LabWindows, C++, Simulink or MATLAB
is preferred.
