Beaudry was responsible for all aspects of marketing and strategic positioning of SATCOM capabilities.  Also, Beaudry led the staff growth from 6 to 42 employees and expanding facilities capabilities from 1,200 sf to 34,000 sf.

Greg Loboda, Director of Engineering

Greg joined BTP Systems in March 2005 as Chief Technology Officer, serving as the lead technical representative for BTP Systems when considering customers’ solicitations. He also acts as Principal Engineer and Program Manager for all West Coast programs.  In addition, Greg represents BTP Systems on the Navy Multi-Band Terminal (NMT) next-generation MILSATCOM technical evaluation team. Considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the area of actively stabilized shipboard SATCOM pedestals, Greg regularly critiques, interacts with and visits the NMT prime contractors and subcontractors as part of the Navy selection process.

Prior to joining BTP, Greg served as Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer at Raytheon NCS, where he quickly gained a reputation as an authority on Navy shipboard SATCOM systems. He led Raytheon’s effort to overhaul the fleet’s population of EHF shipboard FOT antenna pedestals, and later served the Raytheon DD(X) Program Office as a technical lead in the integration of EHF SATCOM systems into the advanced next-generation destroyer concept. Additionally, he acted as Raytheon Program Engineer for the nascent AFRL Multi-Access Wide Field Extended Aperture program, leading to the successful 4-year, $72 million award for an advanced environment prototype.

Prior to Raytheon, Greg served as Senior Mechanical Project Engineer for RDC, an entrepreneurial aerospace company in Long Beach, CA. He also held the position of Senior Engineer/Scientist at McDonnell Douglas where he was instrumental in the successful design and execution of several advanced development programs, including a joint NASA-RSA Mars Rover prototype and the DC-XA single-stage reusable launch vehicle.

Greg Loboda received his combined BS/MS in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His graduate studies at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory encompassed the on-orbit stabilization of spaceborne infrared telescope, leading to his participation in the initial investigation of the aberrant optical performance of the Hubble Space Telescope after its launch in 1990.

Dave Salvage, Director of SATCOM Programs

Dave Salvage received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, and was commissioned as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy.  Dave reported to the USS Russell, a guided missile destroyer under construction, as the ship’s first Electrical Officer.  He spent a year overseeing the installation and testing of the ship’s electrical and internal communications systems, after which the ship was commissioned and sailed to her home port in Pearl Harbor, HI.  Dave took over as the ship’s Combat Information Center (CIC) Officer for a six-month deployment to the Persian Gulf, during which he was the principal user of the ship’s communications, radar and weapon systems.

Dave resigned from the Navy and returned to New England where he was a process and plant engineer at Rexam Graphics and Dielectric Polymers.  During this time Dave was certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt and managed technical relationships with customers such as DuPont and HP.  Dave started working for Bud Beaudry as a Program Manager at Millitech where he led the manufacture and test of satellite antenna systems for submarines: Navy Submarine High Data Rate, Sub HDR, and Navy EHF Satellite Program, (NESP) and the Army’s Ground Receive Terminal (GRT).  Dave joined BTP Systems in its first year and serves as the Director of SATCOM Programs.
